“ Integrated Herbal Extraction and Formulation Manufacturing Facility (“INTIHERBS”)

This is the latest manufacturing plant which has been commissioned in August 2011. It is an integrated facility with in-house extraction for own use and also for independent commercialization spread over close to 5 acres of land.

The plant consists of lab scale Sohoxlet for protocol development, 100 kg scale up plant and a 500 kg full size extraction plants. On the formulation side, the plant is equipped to manufacture Liquids, Tablets, Capsules, Powders and also our innovative and patented herbal pellets range.

The Plant is fully equipped with latest machineries for manufacturing and high precision instruments in Quality Assurance Dept for all in-house testing of Raw Materials, Packing Materials and Finish Products. A storage capacity of 250 tons has also been incorporated for seasonal procurement and storage of sensitive Raw Matarials.

The design and construction of Plant is in keeping with Current WHO GMP guidelines. It is attached to our R&D and Q&C labs with HPTLC machines for accurate standardization and fully equipped Micro lab for testing.

The extra land area is being used to grow and standardize special herbal plants under organic cultivation techniques and will be used to promote organic cultivation through our arrangements with farmers around the plant itself on a buy back basis.
